Samantha & Alex's Rustic Mountain Layered Invitations

One of my favorite things about the design process is seeing the design transform over time. Sometimes the final design is exactly what the first proofs portray, and sometimes it changes fairly drastically over time. This is one of those times, and I couldn't be happier with the final result. When working with Samantha and Alex, we started off with a horizontal invitation with a sketch of rolling hills and a couple of small dark green elements. What we ended up with is below. The final outcome is more beautiful than I had originally anticipated. They were full of rustic charm, detail, and personality, just like the beautiful wedding Samantha and Alex had dreamed of!
