This past weekend, Emily and Will celebrated their one year anniversary (but seriously, where does the time go?!), and it was such a beautiful wedding day! Emily and Will did not skimp on any detail for their gorgeous black tie wedding at the amazing Graylyn Estate in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Today, for the first time since their wedding, I’m sharing some of their gorgeous details with you!
I loved that Emily was not afraid to incorporate a little color into their black tie affair. We used subtle shades of blush and blue throughout the decor, beginning with the very first glimpse of their big day - their save the dates and invitations! I collaborated with Amy of Sincerely Amy Designs to create both their save the dates and invitations, and Emily added the most beautiful envelope liner to her invitation suites before sending them out to guests! The look was completed with envelope calligraphy by Will’s mother.

We added touches of blush and blue in her florals, day of stationery, and linens, as well, giving a really unique style to their black tie wedding.

Many family heirlooms were incorporated throughout the day, including the fabric on the top of the Chuppah and the sword used to cut the cake.

Guests dined by lush floral centerpieces and candlelight with custom calligraphed menus, and took home the sweetest cookie favor boxes.
