Tuckahoe Plantation Elopement Featured on Martha Stewart Weddings

My good friend, Carolina Lima, and I dreamed up this beautiful winter elopement that was a little bit modern and a little bit classic, with the beautiful, serene landscapes of Tuckahoe Plantation as the backdrop. The wintery design included a beautiful black and white dress from Rent the Runway, a blend of classic white roses with modern black and white anemones and greenery, an oversized lampshade accenting the dinner table, sleek black tabletop details, and warm sheepskin rugs just to name a few.

To complement the modern design, Sweet Fix bakery in Richmond, Virginia also created a beautiful black wedding cake that was recently featured in Martha Stewart. The gorgeous cake incorporated all of the modern and classic details seen throughout the rest of the design - clean, modern lines and classic gold accents and florals. The gorgeous cake (and lots of other beauties!) is over on Martha Stewart Weddings now, and provides the perfect inspiration for your fall and winter weddings!
